Welcome to our Exhaust and FIlters Page
In this section we will cover what are the best systems for your vehicle/s
It is paramount when choosing an exhaust and air filter that it isn't to loud as this will drone when on a motorway and will drive you crazy.
If you would like more information on the systems please click on either of the manufacturers logos and it will take you directly to their web site where you will get a full explanation of the systems and pricing
EXHAUSTS

You should take into consideration the type of driving you do and how long you are going to keep your car,if you don't keep your car for long then buy a mild steel system as this is a lot cheaper they come with an 18 month guarantee, If you intend to keep your vehicle for longer then buy a stainless steel system as these normally come with a lifetime guarantee to the original purchaser.
Beware of exhausts in other metals as these are prone to cracking ie titanium these systems are expensive but if you are racing these will save you a fair amount of weight but you need to be prepared to spend more money should it crack as there are no warranties on race use products whether you use it on the track or the road
There are also some S/S manifolds available for a limited amount of vehicles if the manufacturer only lists a mild steel system then don't worry too much as there is a lot of heat in this area so rusting is normally not a problem, but to much heat and then rapid cooling can crack S/S manifolds.

For those of you that want to remain street legal then you can look to purchasing a racing or sports catalyst this will increase power with a full sports exhaust system and a fair amount of power can be gained from turbo cars but not so much normally aspirated cars.
Performance exhausts can also be ordered with various finishing tailpipes some can even be changed should you wish to have a different tailpipe design_
The newest item at the moment is a silencer valve where you can quieten the system at a touch of a button this can just about be added in to any exhaust set up
AIRFILTERS & INDUCTION KITS
I wont go into the finer arts of air filtration as I dont want to bore you to death so we will stick to the basics but it is very important that you get your choice of filter correct and just about every filter does the same job THEY FILTER OUT DIRT DEPOSITS FROM THE AIR , If they dont then these little particles will damage your throttle openings and various other components and that could be expensive as a general rule DO NOT RUN YOU VEHICLE WITHOUT a filter.
I would have to say though that it is to be advised to choose your filter carefully as not all filters are suited to every vehicle Audi, Volkswagon,Subaru and Vauxhalls are prone to air flow meter problems if an oiled filter is used as this coats their hot wire system which is inside there air flow meter and plays havoc with the air temperature readings
You must also be carefull when using an wing mounted induction kit as this can suck water into your engine and can destroy it especially diesels
Now on a lighter note the above filters are very good at letting in more air to your engine and more air means a better burning cycle for your engine thus increasing the power marginally beware anybody that tells you your going to get more than 10 BHP if your lucky you might get between 2 BHP to 8 BHP
It is also advisable to get as much cold air into your filter as possible and sheilded filters are best as these filters keep out the heat from your engine bay and supply your car with the beloved cold air .
We are proud to be associated with Air Filtration systems
