This is our newest service and will be launched in the next couple of months we are introducing a faultmate Extreme Diagnostics system for our Discovery 3 customers in Scotland, and a VAG Com Diagnostics System (available now) for our Audi /VW/Seat/Skoda customers and the more requests we get for different marques we will add more diagnostic equipment.
It costs thousands of pounds to get equipment and software for all the makes and models so this will of course take time and effort to establish a cost effective service for the customer and of course it will take time to understand how these new diagnostics systems will work and what they are capable of.
We know one thing for sure our diagnostic systems are far better than the dealer systems and we can do much more in respect of updating your vehicle.
We have found that dealer equipment is often locked so that they can only do certain things and turn on and off certain things.
Our diagnostic services will be starting at around £20.00 for the first scan this will give you a print out to see if anything is required, should there be anything required like clearing fault codes or resetting service lights the charge will be £30.00
If you need any reprogramming or rectfication work, prices will start at £60.00 if some of you think this is expensive we would like to here your feedback,but please look at factoring in the cost of the equipment and the software as these have to be paid for along with our time, there are also ongoing costs with some diagnostic equipment and these can run into thousands of pounds per year making sure the equipment has the lastest software to cope with new models and software upgrades.
