There has been a massive change in the way we choose car audio. Car Audio is now available from a host of companies from the internet, this is probably the way that most people will choose because they are the cheapest. But all you get from these type of companies are the goods, with no back up service they won't tell you how to fit it because they dont know how to. All they want is a sale.
The difference in buying from a specialist is you get people who know what they are selling and can give you the back up service that you might need. Ok so they might be more expensive but if you're stuck when fitting the product they have just sold you, they will be more inclined to give you free advice. Or if you prefer will fit it as part of the deal, or at an extra cost. You can then be assured that it will be done correctly with no costly mistakes and the installation will carry a full years warranty as long as you havn't interfered with it.
In the last six years there has been many new developments like moving from analogue signals to digital signals in amplifiers and from normal analogue radio to digital which gives us true cd clarity. Moving away from CD's,tapes, mini discs to storage cards,USB and MP3 and most recently downloads from your computer straight onto your CD Tuners Face plate. So music is now so much more versatile and user friendly.
There are now even hard drive systems that look like headunits and hold 5000 songs. Even your humble CD Changer will be a thing of the past as removable harddrives become the norm and these will hold upwards of 10000 songs, or your complete audio collection if you so wish.
The most impressive item that has come to the motorist is multimedia and navigation. No longer do you, your wife or girlfriend end up in an argument over who read the map wrong, your navigation system now takes care of that. The kids won't ask you if you are there yet for the twenty fifth time, as they are now too busy engrossed in the TV, DVD or games console you have had installed.
They can watch whatever on seperate monitors or play a game while the other one watches a DVD and that could be shown on two roof mount screens or two head rest screens whatever you prefer and to your budget.
A few of the big manfacturers cars are also coming with all the above now installed as standard or as optional extras, but these systems can also be adapted, but this method is costly as they have made it very difficult for us to alter anything. If you are really into your Car Audio you will even have to watch what vehicle you buy as not all vehicles can have a new audio system fitted as some manufacturers systems are now part of the dashboard or facia or even the air conditioning or heating system so you can not take these systems out . A typical example would be the Seat Arosa, Fords New shape Fiesta and at the higher end of the market Porsche, Audi, Mercedes and BMW's.

Our work is not done there however, as long as you don't tamper with the system, we will warrent all installations and will be happy to sort out any problems you may have. (warranties vary depending on the product purchased and the type of installation, this will be made clear at time of puchase). We do have an after care service, unlike many internet companies, and you do get to speak to someone.

We do not necessarily stock or fit the cheapest products but we believe that if you want the best out of your system then buying the cheapest ones from the internet, that are imported from some company on the other side of the world that you don't know anything about, may end up costing you more in the long run.
